Wi-Fi connection

I have a ipod with Wi-Fi and my pc has it also but I can'tuse it on my android. Before I can get with charter my andrio needs to be 4.3 or higher, how do I do this? Can"T find where to upgrade it..Charter states they do not use the 2.2 .How to connect to internet with wi-fi?

There is no 4.3. Are you talking about Charter Cable service as your ISP? Ignore them! Are you using a home wireless router? If so, and your iPod and PC can get on, so can your Android. I don't know who set the router at your house, doesn't sound like you did, so get your "Home Administrator" to allow your Android. It might be just a matter of putting in the correct WEP key.
