Can't connect to wifi

Bought my wife a Viewsonic gtablet for Christmas. The first one for us. I cannot get it to connect to wifi. It sees my home wifi and goes to connect then says connection is remembered but doesn't do anything. I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide. Also, is anyone in the So-Cal area? Thank you very much.

Make sure your battery is at least 50%. When I bought mine, the battery was dead but I plugged it in using the charging adapter and tried to set up the wireless. Had the same problem you mentioned. Once I let it sit for an hour or so and get to around 55% - 60%, the wireless set up worked fine.

Mine did that so i just turned off the wifi on the tablet n then turned it back on. Then i click my wifi connection n clicked connect

+1 for this being an error in the network config. Go to settings->wireless and network, and then press and hold on the entry for your existing network. You can either chose Forget and then rescan, or Modify and see if you can find the error there.
