being so oblivious to tablets I don't want to make my 1st purchase of one the wrong purchase.....

I have been looking at buying a tablet, something in the 8" range. I need it
to be able to make phone calls with built in sim, ability to access audio files
from an external Toshiba SD drive, GPS (I know most have this now). It
would need to be able to be charged via 12v, and play music through either
HDMI, TOS link (very rare or not avail to my knowledge) USB, mini USB, or
some other form of output other than mini headphone jack that I can convert
to TOS link fiber optic. The processor in my vehicle does not use standard
RCA cables and I just don't want to build a car PC. The car is far too small
to accommodate one.

As you can tell I am going to be using the device for playing music in a car.
I've converted most of my CD's and just need a way to play them other than
an MP3 player. I thought while I was at it, it may as well be able to do other
things I would like to have in the car.

I know everyone has product they like and would only use. Being completely
new to this I'm open to most anything. The only tablets I have been able to
find that can do the above are the Samsung TAB 3 7.0 (I think is the model)
and the BLU LIFE VIEW 8.0 l800l/l800u. I rather like the LIFE VIEW.

SORRY, for such a long winded 1st post

thanks in advance for your help,
Scott
