Polaroid PMID701i 10 with android 4

This is my newest device. I'm trying to use a a VPN with the WiFi.
Whenever I configure the tablet according to the instructions from Security KISS VPN, the connection fails.
They recommend PPTP for Android 4. It always disconnects after a second or two.
Security KISS works on my ATT Fusion with Android 2.3 using L2TP/IPSec PSK.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
