Helo, please I need help to reset my android q8 tablet. I entered the wrong unlock pattern many times and it now requests for for my Google username and password. The problem is, there is no Internet connection to perform this task since my tablet does not have provision for a sim card.
I need help please.

Your tablet should only have needed WiFi to authenticate the account. No SIM card is needed so long as you are close to a previous WiFi connection and WiFi is on.

If you cannot recover password, resetting will clear the problem (and all your data). The proceedure with the POWER OFF, press vol+ and power for a few seconds till you see the boot screen. This should get you to recovery screen.
