android tablet static issue

So I recently got my Acer iconia tab 8 today. I love this tablet but I have one issue. When I plug in my skull candy ear buds I hear an annoying static sound. This is only when i use my headphones. My brother tried his Sol ear buds and got the same issue. I would I fix this problem. Or will I have to return the tablet. Thank you in advance. The normal speakers work flawlessly

There is a hardware issue with your tablet. Its better, if you will return it and get the replacement.
