Looking for a good free anti virus software for my Sony Tablet S. Any recommendations?

......and let me add that I have for some time now been using AVG on my laptop but have read that without rooting my soon to be arriving tablet, using AVG is not possible. Is this true?

I refuse to root and AVG works fine for me.

Hi Freddieboy, congratulations on your new Tablet S and welcome to the forum. Glad you decided to join us here at Android Tablets. I'm using AVG Antivirus Free on my unrooted Nexus 7 2013 without any problems.

BTW The download sites normally tell you if an app requires root or not.
