Any fix for G sensor not orienting correctly on games?

When playing racing games I can never use the G sensor, you literally need to turn the tablet sideways to steer (not easy to look at though). Has anyone found a fix for this.

It is not a "G-sensor"... It is only an orientation sensor, 4 sided.
