Asus Tranformer, nice tablet, mail setup question

Hi There

I'am very happy with my 16 Gb Asus transformer
gmail and hotmail works fine
however I can't get my other email (telfort.nl) provider working:

"name"@telfort.nl
"password"
incomming mail:
pop3.telfort.nl
sec. type none
port:110

(this is accepted and brings me to the outgoing settings

outgoing mail:
smtp.telfort.nl
sec. type: none
port: 587
require sign in



problem starts with outgoing mail

tried other ports like 25, SSL (465) however no succes for days now


on my HTC desire these settings just work fine

doe anybody has a clue?

I have exactly the same problem and would love to find the solution. After putting in the email settings I get the message "Authentation methods not supported by server".
