auto rotate not working after update

hi my iconia a500 auto rotate stopped working after the update to ics 4.0.3 is there any way of going back to the old ics i had on my system or is there a fix for my problem. i
tried a factory reset but that doesnt alter the android ics just erases all my data. the screen will flip when an ap only uses portrait but for any racing games etc where you tilt the tab to stear it doesnt work
