Bluetooth headset not working / being disconnected

I have a generic bluetooth headset that I'm using for my laptop and cellphone. I've tried to use it for my VTAB but it doesn't work. I seldom get that the device (bluetooth) successfully paired and connected to audio media but when I do and I started playing music or video after a few seconds it is being disconnected and now it says that it is only paired but not anymore connected to audio media. Do you know a way to solve my problem? Is the VTAB somewhat choosy on the brand of bluetooth headset? Is there any 3rd party applic that I can use for my bluetooth headset? Thanks.

It might not have anything to do with the vtab. I have a old motorola headset, Old like one of the first stereo bluetooth headset. It has no problem connecting to my vtab and it stays connected too.
