Okay so I got this tablet for christmas

Model Number :- m799ca V2.2
Android Version :- 2.3.3
Baseband version :- unknown
Kernel Version :- 2.6.35.7-InfoTM neville@neville-desktop #7
Build Number :- m799ca-eng 2.3.3 GRI40 eng.petter.20111201.143607 test-keys

It's say's it's based in china so I can't install skype and stuff like that.

I would like to root it, or make it so I can download any app I want.

If you have any additional questions please ask, I did do a search of the forums and all the guides were for the 2.2 tablets

Ive got one myself, rooted successfully with gingerbreak v1.2 from xda dev. Just make sure usb debugging and unknown sources are enabled in your tablets settings first.

Oh and its not wm based its infotmc based
