coby kyros mid 9742 "unable to connect to wifi"

hi guys! i got problems with my 9742, after a month of satisfactory use, it suddenly disconnected me with my wifi and says "avoided poor connection" whereas the wifi strength indicates full signal... i can still connect to my wifi using my laptop so it seems that there is nothing wrong with my router... please help... im not very familiar with tablets though...
