Connecting my tablet to a tv

I have recently purchased a Asus Eee Transformer and want to get the most out of it. Initially I am trying to connect it with an HDMI cable to my HD ready Panasonic Viera TV. Both the tablet and the TV have HDMI sockets and are connected. For some reason when I change the source for the TV to PC nothing happens. The HDMI socket on the TV is on the front panel and described as HDMI 3. When the list of sources is shown on the TV it lists Sat, PC, AV and HDMI 1 and 2 but not 3. What am I doing wrong. I have tried all sources to see whether the feed is coming in via another named option. Has anyone any suggestions.

Hi Griff,

try disconnecting something from a different HDMI port, and connect your TF to that to make sure everything is working. If you get a picture on HDMI2, then at least you have something to troubleshoot with.
