Contact List Help Needed

Hi I am struggling to find how to port over my email contact list from my existing email account to Gmail on my Android 7" tablet.
It is hopeless to carry a printed list of my contacts to refer to every time I need to send an email!
Ideally I would like to set up an identical account on my Android but that seems totally beyond me - Thanks

What email program are you using now. I'm sure we can find some way to export the list.

I am on Outlook Express and my provider is Pipex - POP3
