Just purchased a new Acer Iconia Tab A700. Tablet came preloaded with google/nook ebook format. Unfortunatley ,i have an extensive ebook library of ebooks in MOBI format. Any comments or help in how I can transfer ebooks in mobi to the new Acer and have the ebook actually OPEN and be readable. .......Tried using Calibre to convert mobi to epub, the file would transfer, but could not open ebook. Even in epub. Called Acer support, not a lot of help from call center located in India.

You can download free Kindle application. It works very good with MOBI format books.
