Email stuck in outbox

I am a new owner of a Motorola Xoom. Have had a Droid phone for two years. Recently noticed that random emails get stuck in the out box of my corporate email account and there seems to be no rhyme or reason. After researching online I see many others have the same issue but I see no solutions. Please help.

I had same problem. Installed Toucdown, no more problem.
