Xoom email issue

Hi all

Newbie here with a Motorola Xoom 3.1 Wifi - very happy with it so far but seem to have an email issue (not Gmail but other private email accounts inputted through the "email" app).

Send and receive works fine, but I seem to lose emails out of the inbox when the page refreshes - they are not deleted by me and therefore are not in the recylcle bin. Nothing I can see in the incoming server settings or email settings.

Any assistance gratefully received.
