Hi I'm new to android tablets and wondered if what mine is doing is correct. I fully charge it overnight,use it for say 1 hour leaving the battery at about 50 percent.Next day it won't switch on until I plug in the charger and it says the battery is 0 percent.It has also lost date and time twice going back to 1970!When it's fully charged it seems to work ok.

There would/could be some reasons why it would die over night but 50% battery use in 1 hour is not even close no matter what you were doing. Did I miss something?
If I misunderstood I have some suggestions for better battery life. If I understood correctly you may want to try restarting your tablet, which you should be able to do with a long press of the power button and try again. Let it get 6 hours of charge if possible.
