Flashed My ZT180, now no sound

Ok so I flashed my
ZT180 G0 10in v2 ( I think)
Android version 2.2
Kernal 2.6.32.9

now i have no sound, can anyone help?


I dont even know where to start to fix the problem

PLease someone help. Cant watch a video, play angry birds etc... My electronic babysitter is failing!

I too have a Zenithink ZT180-F 10 Generation 2 512 MB, but i installed the wrong firmware epad_256M_nand_android_2.2_0120_Public. But since then I have installed the correct one which is android_2.2_512_4GB_10_0613 with F. It seems like even though the Gen1 software kills the audio on the Gen2 Pad. The tablet runs really well just no sound. I wish i had a solution for this nightmare.

Wish i had the default factory software, maybe it would install the sound drivers back correctly.

Problem is resolved @ 10" (512MB+4GB) Android2.2+F es8388 NO.20110926 _zenithink. Audio chip is changed from 8988 to es8388 audio. Note: If you download the wrong version,Audio playback will be no sound.

I am new to this and was wondering if you could tell me what I was suppose to do with the unzipped files that you recommended above.
I did the same thing with my zt-180 and now have no sound. I am new to tablets and so should I put this on my tf card and then reboot like when I flashed it?
Not sure what to do here. Thanks for any help!!!

i see u went with smaxtors custom rom. they work very nice but u must have flashed the wrong rom for ur tablet. flash a different one of his roms. u have to make sure u get the right rom for ur specific model #. i used his roms and tablet worked much better than stock till i fried the power port by plugging in wrong charger
