Flashing Internal SD card

Hi Folks~

I'm a noob with android stuff, but is thinking of upgrading the internal memory of my machine.
My pad comes with a 4GB internal memory.
Am currently playing around with the idea of:
Opening up my pad, remove the internal card, cut/paste all content to a 32GB card,
put it all together again.

Think it'll work?

I'm sure there are some partitions on internal card. I'm not sure if the firmware supports making new partitions for bigger card.
also you have to make back ups for all partitions.

I'll definately be retaining the original card as a back up if all else fails... haha
However, apparent most if not all stock internal cards are of Class 2 status.
Sooooo....... if I plug in a Class 10, wonder if it makes the pad fly? LOL

Any Gurus' done this sort of modifications ? Care to share your experiences ?

I've read in another forum that on an HT_PAD 1051 which is Freescale based, replacing the internal SD card with a class 10 type will make the tablet run just as fast If not faster than the IPAD 2. I do not know If true since I have not tried it myself. I am new on this so upgrading, re flashing and opening the unit will have to wait until I know more abut things. Also that replacing the internal SD card with a bigger capacity card is not as easy since there are partitioning complications that seem difficult to resolve.
