Google Chrome not working on rooted 7042

Hello All,

Chrome will install on my 7042 but when I try and open it I get a message saying unfortunately Google Chrome has stopped working. I can access google play store and google maps is working.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck.

Any suggestions as to what may be the problem? Does anybody else with a 7042 have problems with Google Chrome?

Check the permissions for Google Chrome and compare them with Google Earth. Odds are that Chrome needs the network location service turned on before it will work. The fix is to replace framework-res.apk with a modified version that turns on the network location service.
