I purchased the HDMI HDTV adapter, and it doesn't work with the Tab 2. 7.0
Does anyone know if there will be an update soon to fix this?
or is there another way around this prob to get it to work?

I have never messed with the micro HDMI ports on any of the tablets I have owned. It just seems like a lot of draw on the tiny video chip. I am too afraid of burning up the video and having a worthless tablet.

I am also wary of using HDMI out on tablet. My cheap Coby tablet (i no longer own it) permanently froze some pixels on my brand new LCD tv the very first time I tried it out.

Surely there is some menu setting your missing to get it working. My Samsung Phone requires going into a menu setting before it can output video.

Some of those HDMI adapters are powered and the power must be turned on. Also, check if there's a setting in the tablet for enabling the HDMI out.
