I'm trying to connect my 7" Telechips 2.1 tablet to my Vista laptop with the supplied USB cable. After plugging in and letting Vista decide on drivers the laptop recognises 2 new drives (F: and G:) as Removable Disks when I look in My Computer. However when I click on either of these drives it wants me to insert a disk, even though I presume one is the 4G virtual drive and the other is my SD card - both already present in the tablet.

When I look in Device Manager I see the following:

Android Phone
Android ADB Device - with a Google Driver
Disk Drives
Telechips Android USB Device - with the normal Microsoft disk Driver
Telechips Android USB Device - with the normal Microsoft disk Driver
Portable Devices
F: - with the same Microsoft Disk Driver
G: - with the same Microsoft Disk Driver

none of these is flagged as having any problem, and according to Vista are all working
properly.

All I want to do is copy some stuff from the laptop to my SD Card, so can anyone please tell what needs doing.

Cheers,

are you also enabling USB Mode on your tablet? Make sure this is done, there should be either a notification in your notification area or a little bug like thing in your status bar.
