¿How can update of my tablet?

Hi, yesterday i buy my fist tablet, and I had problems with android market, after reading a bit in your forum, and i need upgrade my firmware, but, I am very cautious, in firmware topics I am very careful to firmware issues, so before doing anything, I have some questions:

¿how can make backup of my actual firmware?
¿what firmware should use? I want better performance and, android market.
¿Is there android 2.1 for my dev?

Well there are my cuestions, i dont know what are the model of my device, so let images from my tablet and android info.

Firmware: 1.6
Kernel: 2.6.29-00236-g4f8dbbb-dirty
Build: WTM2.1.2_105

Seems like a known tablet to me! WMT 2.1.2 SZMCE12, have a few questions:

1. What's the device's LED color when it's turned on ? Blue or Green ?
2. Does the tablet vibrate at start up ?
3. Does the tablet have a green or black audio port ?
4. Which connector has your tablet, 24 pins or 30 pins ?
5. Which WMT version is it ? You can find that rightunder when booting or in settings\about device.
6. What is your actual RAM Size ? 128MB or 256MB ? To find that out, use e.g. Advanced Task Killer to see what's free. Don't rely on the about settings dialog as this might be manipulated.
7. What did the box label say ? MID / iRobot / ePad / aPad / SmartPad etc.

Well I'm almost certain I got a ROM mod for you.

I just read this post because I was looking for an update also, it appears I have a similar tablet.
So if I can hijack this thread and answer your questions, hopefully you have a ROM that would be OK for me:

1. LED is green
2. Yes it vibrates
3. Black audio port
4. Unsure about the connector??
5. WMT2.1.2_105
6. 256MB
7. MID on the box.

2. no, don't vibrate at startup
3. as the picture black Audio Port
4. 24 pins
5. WMT2.1.2_105
6. 256mb Ram reported by Android System Info, but advanced taskiller reports 106 available...
7. The box say's MID in black letters.
