How do I transfer movies to my Arnova 8 G2?

Hello,

I have a ARCHOS ARNOVA 8 G2 tablet I recently brought from HMV today, I have a 8GB space, a 2gb SD card at the moment.
I'm going to my mums work tommorow and want to watch some movies on my tablet, I have 3 digital copy .wmv files, but the tablet only excepts .avi and I don't know how to convert the video format, I also have some movies that are not digital copy but I have no idea how to transfer them.

Please reply on a suggestion to tell me how to transfer movies to my tablet.

Hello,

I installed arcmedia, handbrake and got a SD card recently.

I got the format to work, but the fps and frame resoultion error comes up in arcmedia whenever trying to play it.
