Open your browser, (for Google) click the gear in the upper right, that will put you in search settings. Set you SafeFilter to Moderate or Strict, click Save.

This is a reliable method for preventing a search and subsequent access to xxx sites, however it does not substitute basic parental supervision and will not prevent direct access to sites either.

Also, remember that your browser privacy/security settings have to be set to accept cookies so the browser will remember your search setting.

If you are rooted, you can install one of the apps from the Market to set your DNS to point to the OpenDNS servers, where you can then filter and blacklist sites based on content.
