how to flash my tablet

i have just seen the video as to how to upate the firmware but it did not reveal whether the tablet should be on or off before the the whole process starts. must u put it on at the top of the tablet

All tablets are slightly different in how they are flashed, so please make sure that you use the correct procedure for your device. You don't say what it is, so I cannot point you to that forum here.

As far as if it should be on, most likely answer is yes.
