How to Play MKV Videos on Galaxy S4?

I had downloaded some funny mkv videos and want to play them with my Galaxy S4. When I import my .mkv videos, it seems Galaxy S4 can't accept mkv format. My friends suggest me try to use macx video converter pro to convert mkv to specific format to play on Galaxy S4. But I do not know which video and audio parameters fit my Galaxy best? What audio parameters does Galaxy S4 need and how could I adjust the parameters with this program? Thanks for your help.
