How to Root a Haipad MID M1001

I am new to this forum and using Android and would like to know how to root my Haipad M1001

Specs are:
Master: Telechips 8902B ARM11 720Mhz
Display: 10-inch LCD screen 16:9 1024 * 600TFT
ANDROID 2.1


Build Number: MID 1.1
Firmware Version: 2.1-update1
Kernel version: 2.6.29 root@localhost#143


Any help and guidance would be much appreciated.

looks like haipad have just released a update ????--www.haipad.net view in chrome and it auto translates.

I have m1001 and just used the one click method found at the top of the forum that is a sticky

What did you use? I also have an M1001, UniversalAndroot doesn't work.
