Oh, awesome! I got my two youngest the Dell 7 from Bet Buy's BF sale. Guess I'll be rooting their tablets after all. (Not immediately though! I'll wait for a stable version. If it was mine, I'd do some alpha/beta testing and help report issues, etc.)

How did you upgrade to ICS, I did not find any option under SYSTEM UPDATES to do the same, it states that there are no updates available at this point

It isn't an official update. It's a ROM for rooted users.

There will be no official ICS update for the Streak 7, I have this info from Dell.

This is an UN-official update done by the main developer DJ_Steve.

I'm perfectly fine running dev-cooked ROMs. My Droid X runs miui & my Eris is running CM7.

When a stable ICS is available, I'll probably install it.
