Hi Notslony, unfortunately you cannot root the latest version of the software on the VTab. Only the earliest versions of the VTab software are rootable.

Good luck with that. We didn't get HC until after JB was released and still no root for that. The device barely runs HC (the reason I bought a new tablet) what makes you think it will ever see ICS little lone have a root for it. If Vizio does release ICS it won't be until someone else has KLP and has it rooted for their device.

I just picked up a Nexus 7 and I couldn't be happier already running JB and I already rooted it.

If you really need or want a rooted tab I would get rid of the Vizio and look to another manufacturer. I would highly recommend the Nexus.
