yeah, i've been curious too about upgrading my tablet to Honeycomb since i already got mine with 1GHz CPU but only 256MB RAM. Hopefully all the gurus here can give some enlightment...

I haven't heard anything about the $50. As far as upgrading, 3.0 isn't even out yet. Source has not been released. So at honeycomb variant will be a hacked up OS. If you don't have the hardware it will run sluggish
