Is this what all resistive screens are like?

I have a typical 7" CKO with a resistive screen. While I don't expect it to behave like my capacitive phone screen (it doesn't!) I was surprised when I saw that the screen was mis-registering along the (vertical) base line. This meant that the scrolled-down Notification bar had difficulty registering the up sweep. Worked fine if the screen was held horizontally. Also, 'soft' buttons at the bottom of the screen only fire if the finger/stylus is right at their top edge... maybe.

Both this tablet and the one it had to replace do this. Is this common?

Hi Chris,

Have you calibrated your screen? You can do that under settings and that should resolve your problem.
