let my tablet fall

as it says in the above have my tablet , DesireTab - Android 4.0 Tablet with 9.7 Inch Capacitive Touchscreen (16GB, 1G RAM, 1.2GHz, 3G, Dual Camera, HDMI Out,8000mA) since Christmas and love it but let it fall onto tiled floor now when I touch the screen to go to an app it wont stay there it keeps going from one page to another it wont stay on page and if I just flick or turn it it does the same , can it be repaired or forget about it and look for new one ? thx in advance

If you can get into recovery try a factory reset, you will loose all your stuff, but it might fix your problem, it also may not, at this point that's the only option.

thx for reply did that reset and still there ,there is a local repair shop for pcs might give them a go cheers

went to repair shop and he said the touchscreen was gone and there is no parts available for repairs , that sucks!! was a super tablet got endless fun from it lasted 6 months .
