Sniffing around the web and found that the newest MeMo pad - ME302C-A1-WH - by Asus is in stock in the US at Newegg:

ASUS MeMO Pad Intel Atom 2GB DDR2 Memory 16GB Flash 10.0" Touchscreen Tablet Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) FHD 10 (ME302C-A1-WH)

I was tempted to pick one up but I'm going to wait for the 32GB version in blue.

Specs don't sound too bad for the $329 price:

Intel Atom Z2560(1.60GHz)

Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean)
1920 x 1200 IPS screen
PowerVR SGX544
microSD slot

A little different than other Android tablets with an Intel Atom cpu. Anyone thinking of buying this slate?

UPATE: Looks like the Blue 32GB version of this tablet can be purchased here: ASUS MeMO Pad FHD 10.1" 32GB Android 4.2 Tablet - Blue ME302C-B1-BL

I definitely prefer it to the 10-inch Samsung GALAXY Tab 3. It's by far and away the better deal. Unfortunately, there's still no sign of it up here on this side of the border.

Does the Tab 3 use the same CPU as the MeMO pad 10 FHD?

Also waiting for this tablet to become available in Canada.

I was going to grab a Memo Smart 10 for $300 CAD a couple days ago till I saw a review of this tablet on NotebookCheck and YouTube and told myself I may as well wait a bit and pay the extra money for a better more future proof tablet.

Wise move, Nemix.
Officially introduced to the world today at IFA 2013, it comes with a 1280 x 800 IPS display, at 10.1-inches, an unnamed 1.6GHz quad-core processor, a 1.2MP front-facing camera, a 2MP rear camera, up to 16GB of storage with SD expansion, 1GB of RAM and a big battery (5070mAh). The tablet will come in white, grey and pink.
We just have to be patient. It'll get here, eventually.

Cheers.

So I guess they are refreshing the Memo Smart 10 with a faster 1.6Ghz Tegra 3 processor vs 1.2Ghz originally, lowering the 5MP back camera found on the Memo Smart 10 to 2MP back camera and keeping all the other specs the same.

The Memo FHD 10 IMHO still has more impressive specs if the price is right: 1920x1200 IPS display, at 10.1-inches, Atom Z2560 1.6Ghz dual-core processor (4 threads), a 1.2MP front-facing camera, a 5MP rear camera, up to 32GB of storage with SD expansion, 2GB of RAM and a big battery (6760mAh). The tablet will come in blue, white, black (uncomfirmed) and pink.

I'm going to wait for the Memo FHD not the refreshed Memo Smart 10 however if the price gap between the two is more than $80 CAD for the same storage space, I think I'll be getting the refreshed Memo Smart 10 over the Memo FHD.

Edit:

Found it: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ..._1_touch_me302c_2g_32g_android_4_2_black.html (Free shipping in US)

I can get it for $410 CAD shippped to Canada from B & H but I think I'll wait for it to come to BestBuy/Futureshop locally in Canada since it'll save me $15 CAD and returns/exchange in the case of a defective tablet would be much easier.

They also have the 16GB Blue and 16/32GB white at B & H, I buy a lot things from B & H when they have sweet deals since they cover customs in their shipping price; Canadian retailers usually get most of the new products found on B & H within a couple weeks.

2nd Edit:

I wish ASUS had opted for the dual-core processor on Memo FHD 10 instead of the Atom Z2560 1.6Ghz dual-core processor like the Galaxy Tab 3, I would have gladly paid a bit more ($15) for the 2Ghz Atom Z2580 which also has a faster GPU clock too; let's hope ASUS does not pull another refresh Memo FHD 10 with Atom Z2560 2Ghz in couple months cause I would be pretty pissed and very disappointed.

The MeMO Pad FHD 10 comes with a number of exclusive ASUS apps. SuperNote Lite is used for reading, typing, or scribbling notes; while ASUS Studio features several photo editing tools and utilities for managing photo albums. ASUS Splendid video technology optimizes images by enhancing color, brightness, contrast and sharpness to best-suit on-screen content.
