Need tablet for skype use for mom

I like to buy my mom a tablet for use mostly as a skype device. She would probably also use it to read email, news, watch youtube, view pictures, etc. She isn't likely to carry it around except may be on vacation trips. She is unlikely to use it as a camera or video cam because she would not know how.

I am thinking that i need a 10" tablet. A 7" may be too small for less than perfect eyes. My other concern is the video and audio. It should be loud enough to use skype video chat without using ear phones.

I was thinking of getting an Acer Iconia A200. It appears to be a fair good brand and can be had for about $250.

What do you think? Is the audio/video sufficient for skype.

You can go for samsung galaxy tablet 10.1 it would be kind of great bet. It have lovely design, brilliant user controls, simple to use and have many other cool features.

Thanks, but $500 is a bit more than I like to spend.
