Hi. I am a very new tablet user (and new forum user) and am lost already. I am on my laptop constantly and am hoping to 'downsize' for convenience. I purchased a SoftwinerEvb 4.1.1. My first hope for my tablet was to take my music with me when I go on vacation in a few weeks and play through a portable speaker (which I have also purchased). It has a USB cord and I'm not sure how to get it working with the tablet? Works great on my laptop - just plug it in and the software downloaded in seconds and it was playing. Any suggestions? I was going to purchase an I-pod but figured a tablet would be more useful. Like I said, I am very new to tablets and have never really used 'apps' etc - not even on my phone. HELP! LOL. Thanks!!

Hi Pat, congratulations on your new SoftwinerEvb and welcome to the forum. Nice to have you as a member of Android Tablets. I'm moving your thread to the Android Tablet Q&A section for you, where more people are likely to join the discussion and try to help you. Good luck!

Hey, Pat. Welcome. I'm not familiar with your tablet so I can only guess that the USB port is not a host and may only be used for charging and connecting to a PC. Have you tried to connect other USB devices to see if the tab recognizes them? As far as 'apps' go, SoundAbout is easy to use and popular.
