Nexus 7 Price Cut at Staples Could Hint at Next-Gen Version Coming Soon

Staples just had a fairly substantial price drop on the Google/Asus Nexus 7 Android tablet. The 32GB version has dropped a whopping $50 bucks down to $199.99, and the 16GB version dropped by $20 dollars down to $179.99. More than likely this price drop precedes the impending release of the next generation of Nexus 7 tablet. The newer versions are expected to have more powerful, battery efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro processors as well as higher resolution displays.
