No Sound?

Had my Acer A500 3 days and my sound has stopped working!! Has this happened to anyone else?

I have done the obvious checks. ie no headphones, BT, sound is on and turned up.

Have also reset device back to default.

When you say you reset your device back to default that means you factory reset and totally started over correct? The reason I ask is because some times people install certain apps that turn off their media sound and they forget about it but if you factory reset then that shouldnt be it. You could try and install audio manager and see if you can turn the sound up from in there.

No joy all volume at max. Headphones work and so will my BT speaker think I will be returning it tomorrow as it looks like a hardware issue to me.

audio manager fixed my unmute problem after android 4 upgrade.
settings wouldnt let me un mute

Can you give us a detailed explanation of what you did. It is apparent that a few people have the same problem.
