I have a Pandigital Supernova 8" and wanted to see if it was possible to use the netflix app on it? I was able to download amazon marketplace, but when I try to download the netflix app it gets stuck on "download paused". Next I tried to direct download two versions of the netflix app apk file. The app would boot and show the netflix logo, but would then go black. It would go black before asking for my username or anything. Do I have to root the device to get a the app to work? Is it even possible to stream netflix on this device? Thanks for any help.

Here is some information about the Pandigital Supernova 8":
Android 2.3 operating system
4GB shared memory; 3GB available to user
512MB internal memory
8" diagonal capacitive touchscreen TFT color display with 600x800 resolution
802.11b/g/n WiFi

I had the same problem. Amazon customer support says it is not a supported device. I would also like to be able to get the Netflix app.

Interesting, as I downloaded Netflix originally from the Amazon Appstore and it does work on my Supernova. I did install Google Marketplace/Play and have also installed LCD Density Modder Pro to change the *reported* DPI back to Play so I was able to now download the latest update directly from Play.
