Pdfs ireader and internal storage problem

hey, my brother gave me his tablet to sort but i carnt figure it out

he has ireader that he used to read all his pdfs for work but its not opening them anymore

and his internal storage is 0.00 he uses a SD card and because its 0.00 he carnt install any apps

do any of you know why ireader is suddenly not reading his PDFs or why his storage is 0

i have tried resetting it but it asks for a rom

the tablet is Disgo 6000

Perform a "Factory data reset", described in this Digital Gadget's support video Sylvania 7" Android Tablet: Using the system settings, part 2, erases all data on the device. This is accomplished by going to "Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset - Erases all data on device". Applications are NOT deleted just the settings are returned to defaults.
