Pls how can i connect to internet

I just secured an andriod tablet MID Android 4.0.4, but with my local sim card internet subscriber I can not connect to the internet. Pls how do I go about connecting to the internet as the information on the little manual is not self explanatory. I am from Nigeria and I based in Nigeria where i bought the tablet. please I will appreciate if the solution is fast given to me via my e-mail [email protected]. or any other means that will reach me quick. Welcome to the forum

My guess is that you will need to find a cell phone carrier to activate the SIM card. They are usually connected to a data plan and/or a phone plan that needs to be provided by someone!
