My granddaughter received the Maylong Tablet M270 for Christmas and has put a password on it and does not remember it how can I reset this to go with out password

I assume WiFi was not turned on, because at some point, with enough failed attempts it would ask for your Google login. If it was off, try this. With the tablet powered off hold the vol + button then at the same time also hold the power button and see if you get a screen offering to wipe data or reset or something close. If that doesn't do anything try the same thing with vol -
