Just wondering though, is there some way to back-up the current ROM incase the device won't work after using your ROM?

Would hate to brick my device if I try to upgrade to this ROM!

Actually...I can't get past the boot logo! IDK what to do! I thought i had it but apprently not! How long do I have to wait till it boots up? I have been waiting for about 10 minutes! Do I put the SD Card back in after the boot? Help Me please!

If you mess up use this firmware to get your device to factory rom...i tested it and it works:

I DL'd the Uberoid WM8650 ROM, it worked great! But there is one issue, it was designed for a 7" tablet and mine is 8". This causes a "duplication" of the top of the screen in the bottom 1" of the screen. Is there a fix for this? Despite the wrong screen size, the tablet runs much better and I really don't want to flash back to the stock ROM.

I'm sorry guys, I'm new to this and could really use some help.

I have a 7inch wm8650 tablet and I'm trying to root it and install this rom.

I've tried to root the tablet via z4root and Universal Androot, but when I type in su in the terminal emulator, it tells me "must be suid to work properly".

Is there an essential step I'm missing? I really would appreciate any help that could be given.

Have you tried to just install the ROM? Thats all I did, seems it came pre-rooted.

They have an 8" fix for the Uberoid ROM now, works great, just needs a little patience to get it going after flashing
