How do you root the coby 1045-8 and flash roms or gapps?

The main difference between the two is in the screen. The 1042 has a WSVGA (1024x600) screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The 1045 has a WXGA (1280x800) screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio.
