Although Samsung still plans to launch a few products at Mobile World Congress this year, they are taking a much more "low-key" approach over-all. According to reports, Samsung will not be having a press conference at MWC. Previously, they also shared that the Samsung Galaxy SIII will not appear at MWC, but instead will get its own press event later in the year.

The only rumored products that Samsung is likely to debut is a few lower-tier and mid-range phones, as well as a tablet with a quadcore Exynos 5250 chipset, which may also include a 2560 x 1600 display. Could ditching these mass-tech shows start becoming a trend for the bigger companies? Apple never comes to them, and Microsoft shared that they will ditch them from now on. Share your thoughts.
