Screen issues

Hi ... I've just bought a second-hand tablet and found it has a screen issue. there is a darkened area at the bottom radiating horizontally and vertically and getting progressively lighter at the outside edges. It is visible at all times and particularly noticeable with a white/light screen. Any suggestions as to what this might be or if/how it could be eliminated please. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm guessing you didn't purchase it from an authorized reselleror as a refurbished device. Otherwise I would say get it exchanged. I don't personally see any way to correct that problem as it looks like a touch panel hardware issue.
