SD Card Not Working Properly

I recently got an SD card for my tablet and I know it does work because it was earlier but I saved a project on it for school last night and it isn't working now.

The tablet is even reading the card but when I click "Mount SD Card," it only says "preparing SD card" for a few seconds then it plays the sound effect I have set, closes and doesn't mount it.

Any help will be much appreciated.
My tablet btw is 4.0 on Ice-Cream Sandwich.

If I were you I would put the card in a card reader on your PC and copy that project before doing anything else. If you can't see it on your PC the card may be corrupt. You can try reformatting it but it may be damaged.

Probably you bought a poor quality SD Card, I had the same exprience, replug the card and if the problem remains, you might need to buy a good one.
