Skype on the superpad 3

Hi,
Nooby here..... I have a SUPERPAD 3 android ver 2.3. I also have the SKYPE app factory installed version 2.9.0.315
My problem is I cant seem to get video link as there doesn't seem to be the option of choosing the video camera when i want to SKYPE...just audio SKYPE

Any ideas why I cant video. I read that om an Android tablet you need at least ver 2.3 SKYPE to video and i think at least ver 2.1 android which i have
